All participants are required to hold a current HLTAID003 - Provide First Aid qualification plus a current HLTAID001 CPR qualification as a prerequisite to attend this course.

The aim of the Level Two Sports Trainer program is to further develop the basic knowledge and skills of a Level 1 Sports Trainer that in turn will improve their ability to contribute to safer sporting events and organisations. It is anticipated that the experience gained since completion of the Level 1 course will provide course participants with sufficient insight to assimilate this higher level of knowledge into their role as a Sports Trainer.
All candidates must have completed an NRL Level 1 Sports Trainer Course and have been active as a Sports Trainer for at least 1 season. You are also required to hold a current Provide First Aid (HLTAID003), plus a CPR (HLTAID001) qualification.
All succesful candidates will receive a statement of attainment with the following competencies:
Conduct basic warm up and cool down programs (SISSPT303A)
Conduct advanced taping (SISSPT307A)
Follow work health & safety policies (SISXWHS101)
Provide drugs in sport information (SISSSCO306)
Undertake risk analysis of activities (SISXRSK301A)

Any Level 1 Sports Trainer who is looking to progress into higher roles or improve their knowledge.
