Course Description

 

The International Games Coaching (IGC) Course has been designed to cater for coaches of young players aged 13 Years and above. The course consists of 3 components:

- 3 Online Modules

- 6 Face-to-face Modules

- Practical Assessment

Upon completion of all 3 components, coaches will be officially accredited as a International Games Coach. The Accreditation is valid for a period of 4 years.

  • Coaching and Teaching Methods
  • Age-appropriate Skill Development
  • Designing and implementing fun and effective Training Sessions
  • Creating a Fun, Safe and Positive Learning Environment
  • Planning and managing Training and Game Day
Who should do this Course

Anyone wishing to coach a Rugby League team with participants aged 13 years and above are required to complete this accreditation. Accreditation is compulsory under the National Coach Accreditation Scheme.
